Comes with complete mounting hardware and instructions and thermostat to set and monitor inside/outside temperatures. DIY installation to reduce your electric bill on a south facing wall unobstructed by the sun's rays and you will reap the benefits of free solar heating!

Effective heating for trailers, garages, sunrooms, storage buildings, workshops, greenhouses, barns etc. and warms the cool morning air at your pre-set comfort levels especially useful if you show up infrequently.

This unit will supplement your heating system when used in your home, farmhouse, or winter home and provides savings on base heating - quickly returning money back in your pocket instead of needlessly paying your utility. Simply set your regular heating on low so it kicks in when the sun is down - extremely effective for vacationing when empty homes still require minimal base heating to keep temperatures above freezing.

The solar air collector operates by taking in air at the bottom of solar air heater, and the air is heated several times by going through a special construction inside the panel. The heated or fresh air is blown into the room by a fan, driven by electricity generated from sunlight by photovoltaic panel.

3' x 4 1/2' this unit is recommended to heat up to 1000 square feet but you can use additional units for larger spaces.

Solar Air Heaters work purely on a principle of solar energy. With no operating costs they make it possible to deliver heated fresh air from outside to a room or to heat air from a room. Fresh air from outside or room air is drawn into a closed airtight unit.

Black absorbers of sun rays covered by transparent safety glass create a greenhouse effect and heat air inside the collector. A photovoltaic module integrated into the collector produces electric energy in order to feed the fan. The fan leads the air via a flexible air duct into a room.

The best position is direct unobstructed sign light, void of trees to block any rays as the sun moves across the sky and the height of sun rays change during the day. Higher is better, but ensure it is not also partially blocked by eaves troughs when the sun is high.

The fan requires a minimum 5-7 volts of energy from sun rays to provide effective airflow so the angle to the sun is important. The top air hole provides the warmed air flow and the bottom air hole provides internal circulating airflow. The panels use durable tempered glass or BAYER polycarbonate covers resistant to extreme temperatures, wind, hail and snow.

Safety - low voltages so no risk of fire, no direct electricity connection, no smoke or dust. A sturdy aluminum frame structure.

Environment friendly! Reduce the amount of air pollution and greenhouse gases that result from the use of fossil fuels for heating.

Improvement on the dwelling atmosphere - an adjustable air ventilation inlet at the bottom brings in oxygen and reduces carbon dioxide; discharges unpleasant odors which might cause allergies and discomfort; controls the temperature and moisture of the room, and prevents the emergence and spread of bacteria.

The Working Principle

The solar air collector operates by taking in air at the bottom of the solar air heater, and the air is heated several times by going through a special construction inside the panel. The heated or fresh air is blown into the room by a fan, driven by electricity generated from sunlight by a photovoltaic panel.

These models have 3 functions:

Function 1: When the air vent 1 and 2 is opened, air vent 3 closed, the system brings in heated fresh air into the room. Make sure the LED thermal regulator set value is higher than the room temperature.

Function 2: When the air vent 1 is closed, air vents 2 and 3 opened, the system heats the room air internal circularly and achieves the best heating effect. Make sure the LED thermal regulator set value is higher than the room temperature.

Function 3: When the air vent 2 is closed, air vent land 3 opened, the system exhausts the room heated air, as well as waste gas and humidity, which is very practical in summer time. Make sure the LED thermal regulator set value is lower than the room temperature.

We recommend placing the product on a vertical surface providing the best angle between the panel and sun in winter and spring and autumn. The location must be in the direction where there is greatest opportunity for sun, because solar collector as its name indicates depends on the sunshine.

The fan runs to blow the warm air inside - if the room temperature air becomes too warm, simply adjust or turn off the thermal regulator for the fan. If roof mounted, the horizontal angle should be between 45°C to 65°C and care must be taken to not compromise the roofing weather resistance so all mounting screws should be properly sealed to prevent roofing leaks.

Mounting Procedures:

You are required to drill a hole for the pipe to pass through using a 108 MM Drill bit. Find a suitable site where the solar panel will receive as much sunlight as possible, and where a hole can be made in the wall through which the supplied tubing can be passed. Full mounting instructions come with the units and can be installed as a DIY project! Solar panel with photovoltaic and lpc ventilator backside
